A Funnel With No Visitors: How Do You Get Traffic to It?

Setting up a funnel inside The ClickBank Profit Club doesn’t take long.

There’s a series of short setup videos in the members area, and they walk you through getting it live step by step. It’s a matter of minutes rather than days.

Then you hit the next question. And it’s a big one.

How do you get traffic to your funnel, so people actually see it?

In my last post, What Happens When Your Email Sequence Ends? , I wrote about looking after the leads you already have. John’s point there was that more traffic won’t fix weak follow-up. Fair enough. But you still need some traffic to get leads in the first place.

A Funnel on Its Own Does Nothing

This is easy to forget.

You can have a good page, a solid email sequence and a sensible offer behind it. If nobody visits, none of it matters.

I’d guess most people starting out (me included) find the building part more comfortable than the traffic part. Building feels like progress. You can see it taking shape.

Traffic is different. It means putting yourself out there, or spending money, or both. And it’s where a lot of people stall.

Remember the simple flow I keep coming back to?

Traffic → Page → Email List → Follow-Up → Relevant Offer

Traffic is the very first step. Without it, the rest of the system never gets a chance to work.

Getting Traffic to Your Funnel: What the Club Offers

The club has an add-on called the Fast-Track Traffic System. It’s available to members for $9.95.

It covers two ways of getting traffic to your funnel: one free and one paid. According to John, both are methods he uses in his own business right now.

Here’s what’s included:

– A paid traffic method that can have targeted visitors reaching your funnel within 24 hours
– A free traffic method you can use every day in under 30 minutes, with no ad spend, no tech skills and no existing audience needed
– John’s personal list of recommended paid traffic sources
– Plug-and-play templates to get you started
– How to track your results, so you know what’s working and what isn’t
– Lifetime access, so you can rewatch the training as often as you need

I won’t go into how the methods work. That’s for members, and it’s John’s material to share rather than mine.

The Two Parts That Stood Out to Me

The first was the free method with no existing audience required.

That matters if you’re starting from nothing. A lot of free traffic advice quietly assumes you already have followers somewhere. If you don’t, it’s not much use.

The second was tracking.

It’s very easy to try something for a week, decide it isn’t working and move on to the next idea. I’ve written before about chasing the next tactic and starting again before finishing what you started. Without knowing what’s actually happening, you’re guessing. Tracking at least gives you something real to look at before you decide.

Free or Paid?

I can see a case for both.

Free traffic costs time rather than money. That suits a lot of people starting out.

Paid traffic is quicker. You can test a page and see what happens without waiting weeks. The catch is that you’re spending money while you learn, so having a list of recommended sources from someone who already runs ads seems sensible to me.

I’ve decided to get it, so I’ll be going through both methods myself. I’ll write up what I find in a future post.
